Martha Stewart instructs to paint plain yogurt on terracotta pots with foam brushes. Leave the pots in a shaded spot for about one month to achieve a beautiful aged patina. The longer you leave them, the more pronounced the effect. You can spray with water periodically, or leave where rain can mist them. She does warn that the first few days of this project might be a little malodorous, but it will subside. I can’t wait to give this a try!
